Blink-182 “Down” Blink-182 “Feeling This” Blink-182 “The Rock Show” Damone “Out Here All Night” KISS “100,000 Years (Live)” KISS “Deuce (Live)” KISS “Parasite (Live)” Weezer “My Name is Jonas” Weezer “Pork and Beans” Weezer “Undone – The Sweater Song” lets start with [glow=red,2,300] weezer.[/glow] weezer makes fun pop music. i enjoy them alot and think there are great for rb. if you're gonna buy weezer and expect it to be maiden like move on. if you want something catchy poppy and alot of fun for a party perfect. yes i know the charts are boring but sometimes a boring charts is fun. plus how kool is the weezer bass player? he gets to look all kool on stage plays some of the easiest but awesome sounding bass lines in the world.plus he is in weezer, dude must be a freaking chick magnet! [glow=red,2,300]my name is jonas[/glow] was very good guitar chart. i loved it. the bass was very blah till the end until the normal weezer alt strum fest starts. pretty much a very vanilla bass chart . i imagine this will be a cool band song though. BC whipped out the x box to play jonas on gh hero. some changes but pretty much the same but rbs jonas alot harder. [glow=red,2,300]pork n beans [/glow] so duper duper easy but dam i love these song so i wont mind it. in fact its so easy it makes they say look like run thru the hills !lol no surprises here just a fun lil ole song. [glow=red,2,300]undone the sweater song[/glow] the song that got me into weezer! i enjoyed but again not difficult at all. it is there for fun. imagine a bigfish house party where everybody be yelling UNDONE!!!!!!!!!! all drunk like moshing over his couch awesome. [glow=red,2,300]Blinl 182[/glow] i also like blink as well. seen them at a few warped tours and few times in the city . i even rember there old drummer before travis. my problem with the pack is the on of the song selections here. like down? ? i would of rather had josie or whats my age again or first date. ok chart wise kinda fun on guitar. feel this was the meh trak here but bass was super fun. i enjoyed the bass more then the guitar charts in this pack. also depending on which blink was singing the part dictated what instrament was busy. [glow=red,2,300] damone[/glow] never heard of them . after research there a power pop group from where else? yep boston lol . though there not from hmx but did have a song in madden 07. i really liked this song thought it was very kool. the charts bass and guitar where alt strum stock and i actually didnt mind that caused i liked song alot. how alt strummy you say? well my bass sight read was 97 % but olny 3 stars due to my note streak of 2 lol. kiss i will review tom but as where i stand im giving this week a 8 out of ten. after kiss who knows not really a fan of kiss but hope the charts are awesome!

[glow=red,2,300]KISS[/glow] hmm i like some of there music . i feel these charts are giving kiss way to much credit for them being competent musicians. the sound quality is my main issue here. KISS in many ways is exactly what spinal tap is parodying . i agree with fish we should of had some studio KISS here but other bands i don't mind live stuff. the song choices here are puzzling. deuce good call but the other 2. guitar charts very busy not to hard to play but hard to master. bass was again better then guitar thats 2 packs where i felt bass was a blast. so after playing kiss 6 out of 10. get your self some weezer for parties and getting your friends there 1st gold. feel this for blink for good bass. damone cause for being from Boston there decent. KISS if you want a challenge enjoy

Not to get all Chuck Klosterman on you, but do you really think they're bad musicians? I doubt anybody's going to put them at the top of their list, but I'd say all the original lineup (these tracks are the original lineup, right?) are at least above average at what they do. Peter Criss isn't the best drummer out there by any means, but he's got a pretty distinctive style of playing, and that's more than a lot of drummers can say. If nothing else Ace Frehley was regarded as a pretty outstanding lead guitarist.

ace was probally best out of the bunch. they where average musically but insane promotion machine. gene simmons is not gonna scare anybody on bass. peter chriss how many times was he fired? plus dont get me wrong you dont have to play the best a what you do and be good example weezer lol. i feel this charts are very busy for being kiss.im just saying with out the make up, pyrotechnics, ace setting him self on fire every other show, the cartoon, the movie, the marketing, the tongue , the groupies, beth one of the very 1st power ballads and amazing fan base they just another average metal band lol.no way these charts should be harder then a I.V. or chiron. though ill admit i loved aces solo work and frehleys comet is a cd i love and new york groove is a fav song of mine.

I wouldn't say they're mighty metal gods by any means, but I think people are distracted by the image and dismissive of what talent they did have. Strip off all the makeup and brouhaha and Detroit Rock City still kicks a million tons of ass. As far as the difficulty of the songs go, I don't know what to tell you. No one online is calling these songs out for being overcharted, which means if you find them harder than Chiron or IV, I guess that's because the band played them that way I don't know why that would surprise you though. I know lots of drummers who got tripped up on Kiss back in the days of rb1.

we agree to diagree cause i hear detroit rock city im like blah lame. in the 70s they needed that gimmick to compete with all those great rock bands of the 70s. its not that i find it them diffacult its i feel there charted like if jimi played guitar on the track. were playing gene simmons here he was not scaling up and down the fret board while puking blood. i find there charts comparable to the sabbath charts we have and no way kiss should be charted as hard as sabbath. dr love to me is perfect in its charting and just because we got live kiss they turned into metallica detroit rock city on the strings is charted really well imo. since the same people are playing these songs they should be kinda the same.

Detroit Rock City might be the best song ever. I used to put that song on and blast it at last call every night. It was kind of a tradition at my bar. I might have to start doing that again....

I don't understand what you're getting at here. Just because they wrote some easy songs doesn't mean all their songs are easy. Or that they didn't play them better live. I mean yeah, they puke blood during their show, but they don't do it for the entire show. They take a minute or two to actually play their instruments You're fond of pointing out the same guy played guitar on They Say and BYOB. Why can't the same guy play bass on Dr. Love and Deuce? The songs are charted accurately. If they're as hard as Sabbath then they're as hard as Sabbath.

they wrote all easy songs period.the charts from the same era gene simmons should be similar live to the studio as well with ace. if not the studio version should be harder then kiss alive for all the studio wankery they put there songs . gene simmons did not go from the studio and then in front of 80000 people at MSG magically transform into john entwistle then back to the studio and write love gun. when i used to take music theory class my teacher loved kiss not for there talent or theatrics . he loved them for how they wrote music . they wrote everything in a major scale even if it had to switch to minor chord kiss put a out of place major chord there. it created a always happy type i want to party my ass off sound. i just feel with as you said 7 boring charted songs they went lil over board with the kiss stuff. scars on broadway have the same guitar dude as sod but totally different genres of music. deuce parasite should not be harder then Dr love strutter lovegun detroit rock city. i feel hmx went a lil nuts giving gene simmons and peter kriss 4 and 6 tier diffaculty rating. they should be in the 3 tier range. so all i am saying i surprized how hard charted these kiss songs are. since after all they are kiss. kiss is about money 1st playing second lol. so kiss live shouldnt be like playing the who live all im saying.

While I have never been a huge KISS fan, they do have a few songs that are decent to listen to.. KISS is a business first and music is secondary to them.. Why they picked these songs I have no clue.. They have much better live songs.. I think they pulled out the dart board and hit three songs and said this is what we will go with
