Hey everyone... I am looking for people who would like to go for world records on Rock Band and Rock Band 2.
They do have some scores for DLC on the original Rock Band but I dont see any dlc scores for Rock Band 2.. I will have to find out some more information..
I am looking for anyone who wants to join in this venture and will mix and match people that want to and are available.. I will do some research and pick the best songs for the group that is playing..
There are many options to do this.. It can be one player or two or three or a full band..
The rules are simple: here is a sample
Rock Band (Downloadable Content)
Variation: NTSC - No Doubt - "Don't Speak" - Multiplayer Co-operative - Full Band [Points]
Platform: PlayStation 3
Rules: Pausing is NOT allowed!
Scores can be achieved during Quick Play or Tour Modes.
Guitar input
This MUST be played with a Guitar Controller. To ensure the Guitar Controller is being used, players will be required to cycle through the fret buttons at least ONCE at the start of each song. Meaning... click and release each fret button just to show that you are using a guitar controller.
Microphone input
The attempt must come through use of the microphone in conjunction with the vocals of the participant(s).
Sound MUST be recorded.
Sound MUST include the voices of the participant(s).
Players must make a reasonable attempt at the lyrics. The referee is at liberty to disqualify an attempt if the lyrics are not attempted.
It is the responsibility of the submitter(s) to ensure that the volume of the game output does not adversely affect the microphone input (for example, don't blast the TV sound to get noise into the microphone nor have the microphone too close to the speakers). It is the responsibility of the submitter(s) to ensure microphone feedback does not occur. The referee is at liberty to disqualify an attempt if the scoring appears to occur in spite of what appears to have been the recorded input.
If you want to Vox you must be comfortable recording your voice and letting everyone else hear you... At the moment I do not intend on releasing any video anywhere except to Twin Galaxies
I should be ready soon to have all equipment set up to record.
The way I plan to do this is get a group together and choose the best song for that group... We will get together and play and probably play that song a couple of times.. along with other songs of course... We will practice that song until we figure out the best pathing and how to obtain maximum points and then record until we get our best score.. this will take some time and practice together to achieve so have patience...
we are all strong players and I know we can do this.. dont be afraid to join in because you cant fc visions or green grass.. there are many many songs to choose from..
You never know your name may just be in the Guinness book of world records someday!
Rock with ya soon Erock!!!!
