Hey, everyone! I'm thinking ahead for June when RB:GD is released! I would like to get a band together to play through the game so if you're interested let me know. I'd like to have a fairly solid line up and a few alternate volunteers if possible So far: Vox/bass: skk817 Drums: cleaver1 Guitar/Bass/Vox: k-dog64 Anticipating that most play time will be around 9pm-midnight most days CST.

Put me down as a sub for gtr/bass. I'm still not 100% sure I'll get the game on launch, but I'll certainly try!

Anyone still planning to get the game on Tuesday? I'm hanging out at Trama-tized's house until Wednesday, and we plan to play through the game on Tuesday. If anyone is interested in filling in the vox and other guitar/bass spot, please let me know.

I'll likely have the game on Tuesday. I have a business meeting in the morning but after that I am taking the day off and can jam with whoever needs another guitar guy.

He's already on my list although he doesn't like to play with me because I smell like paint chips. Just kidding haha.

What are your thoughts on the game?
I haven't done the Career mode myself yet and have only put a few hours into it on Quickplay so far. I found it difficult to tell when my fellow band mates used their Overdrive, especially the vocalist. It's not as obvious as RB2 when it is used. I'm not used to the sound effects they use either so that may be part of it as well.
I thought the harmonies were cool for vocals although for some reason I prefer the glowy green line used in RB2. I think it is due to the fact that it doesn't have a solid border so I subconsciously feel there is more leway or something. The dark blue for the meter is hard to see too so sometimes I think I hit it perfectly only to see a Strong message appear.
Guitar felt pretty similar to RB2. I enjoy playing the songs even though they are all pretty simple. I did like the instant Leaderboard update as well as having the No Fail option at the starting menu(even though I never use it). I was hoping they would allow Breakneck Speed to used separately though. I can't play with it off, and when I have Rock Band parties no one else can play with it on. The menu's definitely had a Guitar Hero feel though which I feel is actually a down side.
The trophies seemed interesting as well although I probably won't play the game as much now that I've ported it over.

The game itself is meh. Plenty of annoying sound effects with the menus, stars, and OD activation. I really had a tough time knowing when the vocalist was struggling. Some of the tracks were very difficult to gold star. We actually had more fun playing the songs exported on RB2 instead.
