Well if you like emo you're gonna love this week's dlc. We have two 30 seconds to Mars, one All American Rejects. Plus 3 kinda generic Green Day tracks.
Kings and Queens (30 seconds) has a little combo-breaker in the middle where the harmony is louder than the melody. Just stick to the melody line and you'll be just fine.
This is War (30 seconds) is for some reason rated tier 4, it's pretty straightforward no worries there.
Ok my dislike for emo songs is not exactly a big secret LOL. I'll play these once solo and once with my band and I never want these songs to darken my rock band doorstep again after that. But that is not to say they are bad songs, they just aren't my favorite kind of music. I'll have to get someone who appreciates emo music to tell me if they're any good or not. I thought I heard some pretty fast drumming in one of the songs, so at least there's that.
Give You Hell (All American Rejects) was a little more fun for me but again I kind of doubt this song will see much replay with me or my friends, unless someone goes through a messy breakup maybe. It's an easy song.
The Green Day songs are sort of generic sounding, they're not exactly bad, but nothing about them made me feel like any of them would be my new favorite song. They are all easy on vox and probably cake for all the other instruments as well.
Rating: 1 out 12 drummers drumming. My least favorite dlc week in a long time. Unless you're a huge fan of these bands, there's much better music in the music store - I can't really recommend it
