After joining camp freddy, I was able to play with fishheadstewy and he did vocals for me.
I have tried to connect back with Gusano311 and fishheadstewy through this website and playstation friends with no success. Im starting to wonder if this is still going? or maybe im being ignored lol, whatever it is, I like this site as I made several friends. Playing online is cool but, getting together would be best. I have a place to play and I hear there is a bar in SF (bar vertigo) however, its not fun going by yourself.
These last 2 weeks and the next 2 weeks I have not been playing much rockband as im house sitting a friends house, taking care of his pets and I have not conection there to play
So I apologize for that and know that I really want to have a get together going.
Hektek.

We are all still here and playing our brains out.. We have been busy trying to make this site the place to be and we are still playing Rock Band every chance we get.. Some days maybe slow on here but there will always be info rolling in.. We have a lot of great people here and it belongs to all of us.. The more people who come in and contribute the better it will be.. It is taking time to grow and learn but we are getting there...

I can't speak for getting together locally, that's dependent on who lives near you and how willing they are to meet up. Its also kind of secondary to what we do here, which is to help people find others online to jam with.
But I know Tackhead probably organizes three or four Freddy jams a day online, under the "official" camp freddy band, and many of the rest of us are playing with other freddy's pretty constantly as well. ;D

I'd like to know where I am when all this playing goes down. I haven't got to play with anyone from this site yet. Not even once. Do I need to add more people or what?

I am so sorry for the confusion Hektek & Polski.. Our primary goal here is to bring people from the PS3 Rock Band Community that have DLC a place they can come and find awesome people too play with... With that being said we have a Roster: campfreddy.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=2This list needs to be updated but to get on the list you must play a couple of times with the leaders. We do our best to bring people in that have the same ideas about gameplay as we do.. We believe in having fun and playing together.. So to begin, friend the leaders of Camp Freddy and they will get you in on Freddy Jams.. Once you are on our Roster you can friend any one of the Freddies on that Roster and you should be able to find people to play with.. The more people you have on your friends list the greater your opportunities to find people to play with that have DLC.. Thanks to both of you for speaking up.. If we can do anything else please let me us know... Eric

Anyone and everyone should feel free to add me. I'm not as available as some of the other guys, but i do play every chance i get. Camp Freddy is a lot like Fight Club in that "You decide your own level of involvement". We all like to strike up a lot of interesting conversations regarding music, video games, Rock Band, and entertainment in general. We like to write reviews of DLC and give our opinions on just about everything. Check it out and chime in! We love it when people disagree with us! Look forward to jamming with you all soon!

Two caveats first 1) I'm in the UK so on a different time to most Freddys and 2) I get the "Can't Connect to Session" message with random people so can't jame with everyone - I'm trying to work out who I can and can't link to. I'm also a drummer and there appear to be more drummers than anything else in Freddy so supply may outstrip demand. Also I'm far from the best drummer in Freddy so there are better people out there for highscorage. Since joining month or so ago I have had two good full band jams with Tack, BigFish and a couple of others and some two person jams just to check the connection works. However this isn't quite the level of full band jammage I was hoping for when I joined. I would like to say however that whenever I have mailed the leaders they have replied whether or not they are available for a jam and invited me in where they can and generally been chatty and friendly and very nice chaps and ladies all round. However there are only so many people that Tack, Bigfish, Funk, Jesse, Julie etc can jam with at a time and presumably they have people they regularly jam with. On the other hand I've never had an invite or friend request from a Freddy member who's not a leader (although I have friended many myself). Which leads me to wonder if there is too much reliance on the leaders to arrange these and us non leaders need to be a little more proactive in inviting other Freddyites and arranging jams - I have arranged a few - only up to three players though, never a vocalist around when you want one, without the leaders. So what I'm saying is that the leaders seem to do a lot to arrange challenges, jams and keep the website going and maybe we other members need to be more proactive in inviting each other and having Freddy jams. So anyone who wants to jam feel free to invite me whether you're with a leader or not and lets try and spread Freddy jammage to whole new levels of awesomeness

well said jim thankyou very much.. i dont know about the rest of the guys i was kinda hoping that one day i will never have to run a jam and just play in other freddyites member bands or sub in there bands. thats been my goal of mine to get a awesome group we like we have and not just one band but 12 15 bands all over the leaderboards. so when you checkings scores you can be like wow camp julie 3rd camp jim 8 camp eric 6 camp ghost 9 camp luxe 19 camp waaatsuppp 23 etc.... its kinda awesome when you see you and your friends have like 13 spots in the top 100 but imagine when you have 15 bands in the top 20 thats be some kool stuff rite there. its so awesome when we have a challenge and there be 1 02 people in there then when you guys are done i use the vocal challenge as a example we get 10 freddys in the top 20 thats was sup!

Yeah I think if there's one area where we've really dropped the ball its with getting this idea across to people. There's nothing stopping other members from communicating with each other and inviting each other for jams. In fact that's really what we want people to do. This is a place for everybody to find some friends/jam partners/band mates/whatever, not just the leaders lol.

Hey Jim if I am ever online when you are and you need a singer, hit me up! Also to all, our band regularly plays with friends as we can't always get all of us online at once, and in fact we have an open spot for guitar/bass indefinitely soooo anyone who wants to play just send a message to me (delyrical), Maarten (vossenhol) or Rob (icculus1097).

and not just one band but 12 15 bands all over the leaderboards. so when you checkings scores you can be like wow camp julie 3rd camp jim 8 camp eric 6 camp ghost 9 camp luxe 19 camp waaatsuppp 23 etc.... Good idea - my usual band is "Yellow Food Phobia" although it has severaly rotating membership. Therefore I shall establish a new band this evening "Fred Phobia" for future Freddy jams and hope to get something on the leaderboards.

Will do luxe - I've attempted to jam with icculus a few times but he's been engaged in full band activity - he always replies though. I've not encountered Maarten as we both play drums but look forward to jamming with you soon. I'd offer to play guitar but I suck, I'm working on bass and its coming on and I can play the first couple of tiers on Expert (I even FC'd Troublemaker the other day - not much of an achievement to most guitarists but pretty massive for me) but that's about it.

Personally, I joined Freddy because, after perusing the website for awhile, it seemed like a good group of laidback people, who are talented players, but not full of themselves. Kind of an anti-scorehero, if you will. I think my expectations were just to meet some new people with dlc and maybe hook up and play.
As far as jamming goes, I do most of my playing in my 2 woman band Blue Steel Bludgeon (vox + bass/guitar), we are always looking for subs to play with, and just have fun. On the flipside, we are more than happy to sub out into someone else's band. (although vox has connection issues sometimes) Anyone feel free to add me if you need a bassist.
I absolutely love the idea of Freddy leaderboard domination, I will definately try to do my part with bass and my band.
