So they have a new ep out of b-sides from their last couple of albums. I know conventional wisdom for Modest Mouse is that they suck now, but as someone who's enjoyed them immensely since Lonesome Crowded West, I get as much pleasure out of new Modest Mouse as old. We Were Dead had some great songs if you could look past the sheen Brock threw all over the album in production. I also loved the shit with banjos and backing brass band they messed around with on Good News. And hipster music snobs hating on the fact that Johnny Marr joined the band are stupid Anyway, here's a couple tracks off of the new ep that stood out to me. Satellite Skin Guilty Cocker Spaniels Perpetual Motion Machine (this one is a little different, but features the brass band stuff I mentioned above)

That video for satellite skin is the most disturbing thing i've seen since Christina Aguilera's Maxim shoot.

You should watch it. it's crazy.
It's like the white spy from Mad magazine's Spy Vs. Spy is controlling 2 nuns like puppets through giant vagina's on their backs then he shoots massive amounts of black birds out his eyes which are eaten by the angry wooden monster birdhouses that are walking around the forest.
In a nutshell.
