timebomb or actually the alt country pack hella fun I have the original Country pack and that's quite fun (although I'm struggling with the Dixie Chicks track) so that might be a good call. Another dubious week of DLC, not as bad as last week but nothing that grabs my attention so maybe I'll get that instead. I might try out The Grateful Dead as well.

Difficulty wise Dixie Chicks is probably the roughest country song on drums (and guitar, of course ). Timebomb is a little weird in places, but its a blast once you get it down. I can't recommend the alt country pack enough though. The songs sound cool, and they're lots of fun.

Think I'll pick up the Alt Country pack this week then. My (local band) singer has pleaded with me to get the Green Day pack prior to our next jam session so looks like I'll be getting that as well. Still not giving into his pleas to get the Metallica pack until he learns a lot more songs Hope teh DLC picks up next week, nothing I've been excited about for the last couple of weeks

Eh, the Green Day pack isn't terrible or anything. I think its just one of those instances where a batch of dlc doesn't have much to offer people who aren't actually fans of the band in question.

Absolutely, its probably like the Maroon 5 pack, nothing terribly challenging there but as its a band I really like I bought it immedeately and really enjoy playing it. Its just that I'm not into Green day, still there have been plenty of other bands I've not been into until I discovered them on RB

the country trak pack is amazing!!!! I already have the 5 "Going Country" tracks off it and as I was thinking of getting the alt COuntry pack as well (of which only 3 songs are on it) I was wondering if it would be better to wait until it comes out as DLC. Not sure

I actually bought everything this week - unusual for me, as I'm very into Blur (althouh "There's No Other Way" is far from their best track - where's "Parklife", "Charmless Man" and "Coffee and TV"), the Kaiser Chiefs and the Foo Fighters. My (local) singer begged me to get "Blind Melon" as he loves it and I got the dropkick Murphy's for the drum chellenge this week (although I suck at playing it) so I got the last song (Eve 6) anyway just for completion. And you're right about The Cars - nice warm up tracks that are generally straightforward but have some nice rolls and other bits in to get you going.
